Q. How do you categorize Angel on the Ropes?

It's a science fiction novel for adults.There's a love story, but it's not quite "science fiction-romance." Unless enough of you tell me it is.

Q. Is Angel on the Ropes part of a series?

No. It's a stand alone book.

Q. Are you going to write more books set in this world?

Only if I can match the energy and strengths of Angel. I started to plot a sequel, but it didn't catch. I do love these characters, so it's certainly possible.

Q. What are you working on now?

My next novel will be set in Yellowstone National Park. It's about another strong woman whose identity is fundamentally challenged; in this case, she's a wolf biologist who turns into a werewolf.

Q. Is Angel on the Ropes suitable for teenagers?

Like any work of art, it's not necessarily appropriate for everyone, regardless of age. There is one sex scene between two adults who are falling in love. Two moments in the book are disturbing, but probably well within the level that most young readers of fantasy and science fiction have encountered.
